Job description
About The Role
We seek experienced quantitative professionals to assist in training advanced AI models. This role involves close collaboration with cutting-edge AI systems, focusing on evaluating AI-produced quantitative analyses and troubleshooting technical challenges. Your input will directly influence how these AI models understand data, analytical methods, and scientific concepts. Whether your background is in data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, or any related quantitative discipline, your expertise will be valuable.
The position offers flexibility: some candidates participate alongside full-time jobs, while others dedicate themselves exclusively. Initial steps include creating an account and passing a brief assessment, serving as an interview, after which paid tasks become available.
Benefits of Contracting
- Freedom to select projects and set your working hours
- Ability to work remotely using your own equipment
- Competitive pay starting between $50 and $100 per hour, with opportunities for bonuses on certain projects
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the technical correctness and applicability of AI-generated quantitative outputs, including statistical analyses, predictive models, scientific reasoning, and data-derived insights
- Develop and resolve quantitative challenges for training and validating AI models in areas such as forecasting, optimization, experimental design, and inferential statistics
- Create clear technical documentation and well-structured analytical code
- Offer constructive feedback to refine future AI quantitative reasoning capabilities
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years practicing in a quantitative role or research setting (fields include data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or similar)
- Proficiency in coding with experience in writing and reviewing analytical scripts from start to finish
- Practical knowledge of statistical techniques, predictive analytics, and experimental procedures, such as A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression models, classification algorithms, and time-series forecasting
- Fluent English skills with strong capability in technical writing
- A bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related areas) preferred; advanced degrees like Master's or PhD advantageous
- Additional credentials like Kaggle competition rankings or certifications in AWS/GCP Machine Learning are considered pluses
Additional Information
Compensation is processed through PayPal with no fees charged to applicants; currency conversions from USD are handled automatically.
