Role Overview

This position is responsible for the professional and efficient delivery of customers' online and telephone shopping orders. The role requires interacting with customers with pride, enthusiasm, and care.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
• A full clean driving license is mandatory.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities are required.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and adaptability are important.
• Ability to work independently using initiative as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in customer service is advantageous.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver customers' online and telephone shopping orders to various addresses within a designated area.
• Load, unload, prepare, and operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a positive attitude and take ownership of ensuring customers have an excellent shopping experience.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally, efficiently, and in compliance with store policies.
• Adapt to and support new initiatives and innovative ways of working.

Additional Locality Information

This full-time role also involves preparing high-quality hot and cold deli products with a focus on customer satisfaction by demonstrating passion and knowledge of fresh food. Managing queues, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring food safety standards is essential for delivering exceptional customer experience.

Relevant Skills and Experience

• Excellent communication capabilities.
• Customer service experience is beneficial.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
• Passion for food and the ability to inspire customers.
• HACCP training is a plus but not required.

Additional Information

This position is full-time only and is not open to part-time applicants. Willingness to work weekends is required. Start and finish times are approximate.
