Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Document Controller to join our West Perth office full-time. This role will support our growth and project diversification by managing a range of document control tasks aligned with company standards and ensuring compliance across departments and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage receipt, workflow, and distribution of all incoming and outgoing documentation following established procedures.
  • Prepare and issue transmittals.
  • Support the collation and distribution of tenders and requests for quotations using the tender module.
  • Provide timely progress reports on documentation status.
  • Facilitate the review and approval process for documents to ensure efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with departments and suppliers to collect, review, and update documents as needed.
  • Deliver ongoing training and education on the Document Management System to staff.
  • Provide assistance on system issues, document formatting, and process queries to team members.
  • Ensure adherence to document management standards and best practices.
  • Engage effectively with external vendors, fabricators, and contractors.

Candidate Profile

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in document control roles.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based project document management platforms; experience with Aconex is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, with advanced skills in Excel and Word preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of the construction and mining industries.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and enjoy engaging with diverse stakeholders.
