Since 2016, our R&D division has focused on diverse product lines including payment solutions, power electronics, robotics, industrial automation, and IoT. Role Responsibilities
- Oversee comprehensive quality assurance processes from incoming material inspection to final product checks.
- Ensure strict compliance with IATF 16949 standards, customer-specific requirements, and quality norms.
- Resolve customer complaints utilizing methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and root cause analysis.
- Track and enhance critical quality metrics including PPM, Cost of Poor Quality, and rejection percentages.
- Lead internal, process, and support external/customer audits.
- Develop and enforce corrective and preventive actions to address quality challenges.
- Ensure effective application of quality management core tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
- Manage and improve supplier quality performance and lead supplier development efforts.
- Guide and mentor the quality team to achieve high operational standards.
- Coordinate quality enhancement initiatives with Production, Maintenance, and New Product Development teams.
- Maintain calibration and upkeep of inspection and measuring instruments.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Kaizen, Lean principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Prepare and deliver quality performance reports to management and customers.
- Maintain all quality documentation including SOPs, control plans, and work instructions.
- Support new product development and successful project launches for customers.
Candidate Profile and Preferences
- Experience in sheet metal stamping, welding, tube bending, and fabrication preferred.
- Deep knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 standards, and quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans.
- Proven track record in managing OEM/Tier-1 customer audits and addressing complaints with 8D methodology.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and inspection methodologies.
- Skilled in using various quality measuring instruments including CMM, Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Demonstrated leadership in team management, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Experience working with automotive industry clients such as Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, or other OEM/Tier-1 suppliers is advantageous.
