About the Role

The Custodian at Fit Fusion is entrusted with ensuring the facility remains spotless, secure, and inviting for members, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning and disinfecting tasks across the gym, covering all equipment, locker rooms, restrooms, and shared spaces.
• Keep the club's exterior areas clean and presentable.
• Manage the stock levels of cleaning materials, toiletries, and other essentials used in the facility.
• Complete any detailed cleaning checklists assigned by management on a daily basis.
• Support member and guest services when needed.
• Maintain a courteous and approachable demeanor towards all staff, members, and visitors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is favored.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively each day.
• Must obtain CPR/AED certification within 30 days of starting employment.

Physical Demands

• Capability to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Expect prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Frequent bending, crouching, and reaching needed to fulfill cleaning duties in various facility spaces.

Reporting

This role reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
