Occupational Overview
The Consumer Communications Specialist acts as an expert on the company's products, responding thoughtfully and professionally to inquiries and complaints from consumers and medical professionals, particularly regarding adverse events and product concerns.
Key Duties
- Deliver exceptional service and maintain professional communication with consumers and organizational contacts.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and consumers addressing queries and complaints related to all C.B. Fleet Company, Inc. and Prestige Brand products, including drugs, devices, and dietary supplements.
- Accurately input case information into designated databases.
- Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of globally sold company products.
- Handle multiple consumer interactions simultaneously by actively listening and recording comments electronically.
- Manage a high volume of inbound contacts while assessing consumer needs, clarifying issues, investigating concerns, and providing prompt solutions.
- Act as a Brand Advocate, representing and upholding company values with respect and professionalism.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comply with Medical Affairs record retention protocols and Good Documentation Practices.
- Ensure high data entry and database coding quality standards are maintained.
- Stay informed and participate in departmental meetings and contribute to complaint and inquiry analyses as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A degree in health, science, communication, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- At least five years of relevant work experience.
- Customer service experience is desirable.
Compensation
This position offers an hourly wage of $24.56.
