About Wyken Croft Primary School
Wyken Croft is a large primary school in Coventry committed to creating an excellent environment for students, staff, and families. The school culture centers around its ‘Seven Steps to Success,’ which aim to foster happiness, engagement, and positivity among children, driving them to fulfill their highest potential.
Job Role
The school governors are looking to fill a permanent Cleaner position starting in September. The role involves working with an established caretaking team dedicated to maintaining high cleanliness standards to support a positive learning atmosphere for all pupils.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with caretaking and cleaning staff to uphold the school's cleanliness standards.
- Work independently when needed as well as part of a team.
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions and duties.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to interact professionally with pupils and staff to maintain a harmonious environment.
- Effective communication skills with all school stakeholders.
- Experience working efficiently within a team.
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety policies and procedures.
- Prior experience in cleaning or caretaking roles within the industry.
- Reliable, hardworking, enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to supporting young people in their educational environment.
