Business Applications Lead

About the opportunity

This is a permanent, Hamilton-based leadership role responsible for guiding the business applications function. You will take ownership of the condition, performance, and ongoing enhancement of key enterprise systems, working closely with teams across operations, finance, customer, and service functions.

The role is focused on turning business requirements into practical plans and measurable outcomes. A major part of the job is to provide governance, set priorities, manage vendor performance, and maintain strong service expectations.

What you'll bring

You should have hands-on experience leading business applications, either as the owner of a system portfolio or in a similar lead role. Strong stakeholder management is essential, along with the ability to balance competing priorities and keep different groups aligned.

Experience working with vendors or managed service providers is important, especially around service level agreements, performance tracking, roadmap planning, and commercial discussions. You will also need a solid understanding of systems delivery and change, including both BAU and project work, plus a disciplined approach to risk, incidents, process, and documentation.
