Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and validate business requirements from teams in Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, and Commercial sectors.
• Support workflow and process mapping to pinpoint improvement opportunities.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, capturing business needs, action points, and solution proposals.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to transform business requirements into actionable system requests.
• Deliver first-level support for operations-related business applications; track and troubleshoot issues, escalating as necessary.
• Assist in application testing, configuration updates, and maintaining valid documentation including user guides and procedures.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business users and IT to promote enhanced system use and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze and report on performance data using tools like Excel and Power BI to support decision-making and identify performance gaps.
• Participate in project activities such as testing, documentation, training material preparation, and status reporting.
• Provide basic end-user training, assist in onboarding, and improve user experience based on feedback.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, reporting, and system utilization.
• Maintain compliance documentation and adhere to company safety and regulatory standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Life Sciences, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in business application support, reporting, and documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power BI; familiarity with ERP and CRM systems advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to understand dependencies and causality in business processes.
• Organized, detail-oriented, curious, with demonstrated troubleshooting and investigative aptitude.
• Capable of managing priorities, multitasking, and working independently within a complex global setting.
• Positive attitude with an enthusiasm for teamwork and a commitment to advancing drug discovery for human health.

Additional Details

Applicants residing within commuting distance of Fremont, California are preferred.

Compensation: $36 to $38 per hour.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential overtime.
