About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Agile Coach to mentor and guide teams, leaders, and stakeholders on Agile principles and frameworks. This position plays a crucial role in fostering organizational agility and driving cultural changes across various portfolios and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coaching to teams and leadership on Agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, and best practices.
- Lead Agile transformation initiatives and conduct maturity assessments across different business units.
- Create and deliver Agile workshops, training sessions, and develop playbooks.
- Offer hands-on coaching to scrum masters, product owners, and delivery teams to enhance their Agile capabilities.
- Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder Agile adoption and team performance.
- Champion continuous improvement through data-informed retrospectives and feedback mechanisms.
- Encourage a culture focused on experimentation, learning, and delivering value centered on customer needs.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure Agile adoption aligns with organizational strategic goals.
Required Experience & Skills
- At least 7 years of experience in Agile roles, including a minimum of 3 years specifically as an Agile Coach.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile principles, Lean methodologies, and scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Spotify models.
- Demonstrated capability in coaching teams across various levels of Agile maturity.
- Excellent facilitation, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Proven track record in leading Agile transformations within large organizations.
- Strong ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
- Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), ICAgile, or equivalent.
- Experience working in regulated sectors such as Banking, Superannuation, or Health.
- Background in product management or leadership in delivery functions.
- Experience with DevOps practices and managing Agile at scale.
