Role Overview

An opening is available at the busy Wick factory for a Workshop Mechanical Technician to support the production of harsh-environment and marine CCTV systems for both existing and new customers in the UK and overseas.

This is a full-time on-site role with working hours of 37 per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Duties

  • Carry out CNC milling and turning work.
  • Set up and run manual lathes and milling machines.
  • Use precision measurement tools to check finished components.
  • Keep workshop equipment and the work area maintained, inspected, and clean.
  • Handle general workshop tasks as required.
  • Follow company procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Take part in the company’s continuous improvement activities.
