Position Overview
Gritter Francona seeks a Video Producer to oversee the full lifecycle of animated educational video projects supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) National Center for PTSD. This role involves managing all stages from conceptualization to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed within deadlines and meet quality and contractual standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of animated video production, ensuring adherence to schedules and deadlines.
- Create and manage detailed production plans, timelines, workflows, and deliverable tracking systems.
- Facilitate collaboration among project managers, scriptwriters, subject matter experts, animators, voice actors, editors, and Government stakeholders.
- Supervise pre-production, storyboarding, animation, narration recording, editing, quality control, revisions, and final output.
- Ensure productions align with approved scripts, creative guidelines, scientific accuracy, and Government requirements.
- Track production progress, anticipate risks or resource shortages, and implement solutions to stay on schedule.
- Manage review cycles with Government representatives, integrating their feedback effectively into deliverables.
- Maintain high standards for video quality, accessibility, branding, and technical compliance.
- Confirm all multimedia content accurately reflects current clinical research and approved messaging on trauma, PTSD, treatments, and related conditions.
- Ensure all audio-visual elements are respectful, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and suitable for Veterans and trauma-affected audiences.
- Keep thorough documentation of production processes, version control, approvals, and project records.
- Assist with preparing final files tailored for web, social media, presentations, and other digital platforms.
- Work with Government personnel to support public education campaigns, including PTSD Awareness Month and clinical outreach efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Production, Film, Digital Media, Broadcasting, Multimedia, or a closely related field.
- At least three years of professional experience managing video or multimedia production projects relevant to this scope.
- Proven capability managing video production from initial planning stages through to final delivery.
