About the Opportunity
This role sits within AIA Singapore’s marketing, distribution, and partnership function, supporting the company’s mission to help people live healthier, longer, and better lives. The position focuses on direct selling to retail customers through telemarketing and online channels, with the aim of meeting personal and team sales goals as well as broader business targets.
Role Purpose
You will be responsible for driving sales of AIA products and services by engaging prospects, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable solutions. The job requires a strong focus on conversion, quality, and regulatory compliance while working toward individual and team quotas.
Key Duties
- Make outbound telemarketing calls to partner-supplied leads and work toward sales targets.
- Identify customer needs and match them with appropriate product recommendations.
- Turn partner leads into completed sales using telemarketing methods.
- Carry out all calling activities in line with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Candidate Profile
The employer is looking for someone with at least an O Level qualification or above, along with 2 to 5 years of experience in outbound call centre work and/or telemarketing or telesales in the financial sector. Good communication and interpersonal abilities are important. BCP, PGI, and HI certifications are advantageous but not required.
