About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Delivery Lead to oversee the Contact Centre Technology squad, focusing on key platforms that ensure the reliability, security, and continual enhancement of channels used by customers and colleagues. Key Responsibilities

You will be accountable for directing squad priorities, managing the roadmap and backlog, ensuring compliance, and handling daily delivery tasks for both maintenance and change initiatives. Close collaboration with business stakeholders, engineers, vendors, and technology leaders is essential to guarantee that our contact centre services remain stable, well regulated, risk-conscious, and aligned with the needs of customers and the business.

Candidate Profile

  • Significant experience in technology delivery, product/service ownership, or engineering leadership.
  • Domain expertise in contact centres along with development experience on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Proven ability to guide technical strategies covering architecture, integration, automation, reliability, and support for production environments.
  • Competency in managing risks, compliance obligations, incident response, vendor relations, stakeholder engagement, and operational resilience within regulated settings.
  • A collaborative leadership approach, capable of mentoring engineers, simplifying complex issues, and facilitating actionable solutions.

Working at Westpac

  • Four weeks of standard annual leave plus five additional wellbeing days each year.
  • Optional purchased leave of up to four extra weeks annually.
  • Access to banking benefits, insurance discounts, and participation in a superannuation plan.
  • Opportunities for personal growth, development, and internal career mobility.
  • Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance.
  • Support balancing work and family life, including school holiday subsidies.
  • Two volunteer days annually to engage in community service.
