Strategy Consultant - Fully Remote Contract Role

This role offers a contract opportunity for a Strategy Consultant with a focus on consulting projects related to mergers and acquisitions, investment cases, and post-merger integration, all while working remotely with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assess consulting deliverables including M&A and investment cases that cover EBITDA normalization, business valuation, and acquisition debt structuring.
• Design integration plans following mergers, emphasizing synergy timing, one-off costs, and integration storytelling.
• Integrate diverse complex inputs from data rooms, due diligence reports, and stakeholder feedback into coherent and logically grounded cases.
• Produce client-ready documentation such as memos, financial models, and recommendations that comprehensively state underlying assumptions and associated risks.
• Operate autonomously to oversee engagements from initial diagnosis through to producing decision-quality outputs.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in top consulting or advisory firms or equivalent corporate development roles within companies.
• Exceptional structured problem-solving capabilities enabling clear, justified decisions even in ambiguous situations.
• Advanced financial and business expertise, including proficiency in sophisticated modeling techniques like LBO, three-statement, and pro forma models.
• Capability to independently manage client engagements end-to-end.

Compensation and Terms

• This is an hourly contract position compensated at $95 per hour.
