About the Company and Role
Our client is a prominent beverage manufacturing firm in Tanzania, specializing in bottled drinking water, carbonated soft drinks, energy drinks, and fruit juices. They are looking for a seasoned and strategic Senior Human Resources Manager to lead their HR department, focusing on designing people strategies, cultivating a high-performance environment, and supporting business growth by attracting, nurturing, and retaining exceptional talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute HR strategies that align with the company's overarching business goals.
- Manage processes related to performance evaluation, employee engagement, and professional development initiatives.
- Offer strategic counsel to senior management on organizational growth and change management efforts.
- Ensure adherence to Tanzanian labor regulations, company standards, and recognized HR practices.
- Create and update HR policies, procedures, and frameworks for compensation and benefits.
- Lead efforts to enhance employee wellbeing, promote diversity and inclusivity, and strengthen workplace culture.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a closely related discipline.
- A Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a similar field is advantageous.
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in human resources, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership position.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent management, organizational development, and performance management.
- Membership in a recognized professional HR organization is a plus.
- Skilled in using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
