Key Responsibilities

• Develop and distribute inspection checklists and data capture templates tailored for each utility system prior to field operations.
• Participate in field inspections, documenting asset conditions, vulnerabilities, single points of failure, existing controls, and access limitations.
• Capture and organize photographic evidence linked to asset references to maintain comprehensive site evidence records.
• Create and update the risk register applying consistent scoring methodology and strict version control.
• Design interdependency mappings that illustrate service disruptions resulting from specific asset failures.
• Gather impact data, complete business impact matrices, and draft notes validating different risk scenarios.
• Prepare input parameters for Monte Carlo simulations, including three-point estimates, ranges, and correlation details collected via risk interviews.
• Execute simulation models under senior supervision and generate output charts and summary tables for evaluation.
• Verify field observations against as-built drawings, highlighting any discrepancies.
• Compile workshop materials, record meeting minutes, and monitor the completion of action items.
• Draft sections for continuity plans, playbooks, incident logs, checklists, and reporting templates for senior management review.
• Manage tracking of deliverables and comments, maintaining document control within the risk management stream.
• Assist with the preparation of training materials, attendance documentation, and reports on drills.
• Supply input data for weekly and monthly reports detailing inspections completed and risks identified.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Risk Management is required.
• Between 4 to 7 years of experience, including roles involving field inspections or asset condition assessments.
• Familiarity with ISO 31000 or ISO 22301 standards; formal certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience or training in Monte Carlo simulation and quantitative risk assessment tools such as @RISK, Primavera Risk Analysis, or Safran Risk (training will be provided if needed).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting, capable of managing extensive risk registers with meticulous traceability.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and civil utility systems sufficient to accurately identify defects.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic languages.
