Research Data Scientist - AI Trainer

About The Job

We are seeking experienced quantitative professionals to contribute to AI model training. In this position, you will collaborate with advanced AI systems to assess AI-generated quantitative analyses, address technical challenges, and provide constructive input that influences the way these models interpret data and solve scientific problems. Candidates from diverse quantitative backgrounds such as data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, or operations research who critically analyze data and modeling will find their expertise directly relevant.

Upon registration, candidates will complete a brief assessment serving as an interview. Successful applicants will receive confirmation and gain access to paid assignments on our platform.

Responsibilities

• Assess AI-generated quantitative outputs including statistical analyses, predictive models, scientific reasoning, and data-driven insights for accuracy and practical applicability
• Create and resolve quantitative problems to train and evaluate AI models, covering areas like forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference
• Produce clear technical documentation and well-crafted analytical code
• Offer feedback that informs future development of AI quantitative reasoning capabilities

Qualifications

• Over three years of practical experience in quantitative roles or research such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, or operations research
• Proficiency in coding with the ability to write and evaluate analytical code comprehensively
• Hands-on familiarity with statistical approaches, predictive modeling, experimental design (including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting)
• Fluent English communication skills with strong writing proficiency
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline preferred; advanced degrees like a Master’s or PhD are advantageous
• Additional credentials such as Kaggle rankings or ML certifications from AWS/GCP considered beneficial

Additional Details

This role is an independent contractor position compensated via PayPal, which manages currency conversions from USD. Candidates must reside in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. No fees are ever requested from applicants.
