Overview

Role Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously update detailed master construction schedules and project control procedures for active projects.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports and reviews to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and facilitate proactive resolution strategies.
- Determine and manage resource needs for project schedules across all stages including pre-construction, construction, and commissioning.
- Design and maintain progress tracking tools to monitor project milestones and goals.
- Provide regular performance updates and variance analyses, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Represent the Planning department during client and subcontractor meetings, communicating schedule status and planning matters effectively.
- Support account management and business growth by fostering strong, long-term client relationships.
- Take responsibility for assigned projects and assist team members on other assignments when required.
- Ensure alignment of project planning methods with company standards and contribute to ongoing process enhancements.
Qualifications and Experience
- A university degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant field.
- At least three years of applicable experience in the construction sector, preferably within a main contracting setting.
- Exposure to large-scale projects, ideally in data centre or advanced industrial environments.
- In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, workflow sequencing, and planning procedures.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject; familiarity with BIM or other digital construction tools is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical abilities paired with logical reasoning, including knowledge of programming practices and production rate analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex planning data for varied audiences.
- Capability to meet rigorous deadlines and operate efficiently under pressure.
- Sound commercial insight and comprehension of contractual and project management concepts.
