This appointment is initially for a six-month subcontracting contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project management efforts across designated manufacturing lines or workstreams.
  • Drive execution of programs applying structured project management methodologies and governance frameworks.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, detailing scope, schedules, key milestones, and resource distribution.
  • Regularly track schedule compliance via daily and weekly operational review meetings.
  • Facilitate problem-solving workshops to address and remove operational obstacles that impact delivery timelines.
  • Question and improve existing schedules and execution approaches.
  • Maintain transparency through effective oversight, reporting, and governance mechanisms.
  • Assess and authorize modifications affecting project scope, budgets, delivery timelines, or strategies.
  • Assist in transitioning projects seamlessly from initial concepts to execution and operational readiness phases.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 3 to over 5 years of leadership experience in project or program management within manufacturing, engineering, or regulated sectors.
  • Preferably experienced in managing large-scale capital or manufacturing projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end project lifecycles and on-site execution.
  • Strong ability to manage stakeholders and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated influence without direct authoritative power.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and quality control documentation standards.
  • Highly skilled in conducting workshops, solving complex problems, and delivering presentations.
  • Proficient with advanced Microsoft Project and Excel functionalities.
  • Experience in people management is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, or a related discipline.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPM, or equivalents are preferred.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other strictly regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Involvement with greenfield manufacturing site establishment or expansion projects.
  • Exposure to operational readiness, commissioning, or manufacturing ramp-up activities.
