Product Manager

Role overview

This role is responsible for steering a portfolio of digital products and initiatives from concept through delivery and post-launch improvement. The position sits in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India and focuses on aligning product outcomes with business, operational, and regulatory objectives.

What you will own

• Lead the full delivery lifecycle for multiple digital products and initiatives, from idea validation through implementation and post-release refinement.
• Set the product direction, define the roadmap, and decide feature priorities in line with business targets and compliance needs.
• Work closely with cross-functional groups across technology, business, operations, risk, and third-party partners.
• Guide and influence matrixed teams of more than 20 people, including internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Handle scope, schedules, budgets, financial outlooks, and delivery governance for complex programs.
• Drive requirements gathering, solution design, integration, testing, and release planning for enterprise platforms.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems, processes, and operating models.
• Serve as the key point of contact for stakeholders, explaining the rationale behind product decisions and the intended outcomes.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior leaders, internal teams, and vendor organizations.
• Manage vendor sourcing, contract renewals, commercial terms, and ongoing performance.
• Make sure work aligns with regulatory, risk, and third-party review obligations.
• Support, coach, and develop team members while encouraging continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven ability to own product delivery end to end across the complete lifecycle.
• Experience creating product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and measurable success indicators.
• Strong capability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
• Hands-on experience managing scope, budgets, timelines, forecasting, and governance for large initiatives.
• Ability to convert business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Working knowledge of enterprise delivery processes, including design, integration, testing, and release management.
• Exposure to impact analysis and change management across technology and process landscapes.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar platforms for backlog and delivery tracking.
• Understanding of APIs, including REST and SOAP, as well as middleware and ETL concepts.
• Knowledge of core banking, payment, regulatory, CRM, and data platforms.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, version control such as Git, SQL basics, data flows, dashboards, KPIs, and financial forecasting metrics.
