About the Role

Join a progressive and dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team committed to fostering emotional wellbeing and mental health for children and young people. This Band 6 role is designed for enthusiastic mental health professionals to deliver early interventions within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely within the Primary Care Network providing expert mental health consultation and advice.
  • Conduct direct clinical interventions focused on brief evidence-based therapies for children, young people, and their families.
  • Perform psychosocial assessments and support early recognition of emotional and mental health needs.
  • Collaborate extensively with schools, general practitioners, health professionals, education, and wider community partners.
  • Contribute to the application of the THRIVE framework to enhance timely access to appropriate mental health services across the region.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working with children and young people facing emotional wellbeing or mental health challenges.
  • Strong communication capabilities and proven ability to engage in partnership working.
