About the Role
Join a progressive and dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team committed to fostering emotional wellbeing and mental health for children and young people. This Band 6 role is designed for enthusiastic mental health professionals to deliver early interventions within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely within the Primary Care Network providing expert mental health consultation and advice.
- Conduct direct clinical interventions focused on brief evidence-based therapies for children, young people, and their families.
- Perform psychosocial assessments and support early recognition of emotional and mental health needs.
- Collaborate extensively with schools, general practitioners, health professionals, education, and wider community partners.
- Contribute to the application of the THRIVE framework to enhance timely access to appropriate mental health services across the region.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working with children and young people facing emotional wellbeing or mental health challenges.
- Strong communication capabilities and proven ability to engage in partnership working.
Working Conditions and Benefits
- Part-time hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
