We are looking for a Marketplace Strategy Manager to lead and advance marketplace strategic initiatives aimed at accelerating e-commerce growth, enhancing competitive positioning, and maximizing commercial outcomes across various online platforms. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Analytics, E-commerce, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Operations Management, or related fields; advanced degrees like a Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in marketplace or e-commerce strategy, digital commerce, commercial strategy, growth marketing, or consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of marketplace ecosystems, product portfolio and pricing strategies, customer acquisition, revenue optimization, inventory control, marketplace governance, and omnichannel retail approaches.
  • Hands-on experience with marketplaces such as Amazon, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Walmart Marketplace, eBay, Shopify Marketplace, or Zalando.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and analytics/reporting platforms like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics 4, or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, and e-commerce systems including Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Shopify, or similar.
  • Understanding of marketplace advertising, SEO for product listings, AI analytics, automation tech, APIs, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and predictive analytics is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience supporting international marketplace growth, digital transformation, AI integration, category management, and enterprise e-commerce modernization beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, project management, data governance, customer journey mapping, demand forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance is advantageous.
