Job description
Role Purpose and Objectives
- Manage and maintain the comprehensive database related to Vendor Management and Third-Party arrangements.
- Keep the Vendor Management Tracker and other relevant repositories updated diligently.
- Ensure compliance with the bank's Outsourcing Standard Operating Procedures and associated processes.
- Oversee end-to-end vendor management for various departments within the organization.
- Initiate and implement various risk assessment activities related to third-party vendors.
- Document and monitor Vendor Onboarding processes, including New To Bank (NTB) and Existing To Bank (ETB) vendors, along with vendor payment tracking.
- Conduct periodic risk evaluations of non-outsourcing vendors to maintain risk controls.
- Contribute essential insights when launching new products/process workflows or modifying existing ones, especially concerning risks associated with non-outsourcing vendors.
- Support the team in managing trackers to ensure there are no discrepancies in vendor agreements.
- Perform detailed gap assessments and analyses on the maintained trackers to identify areas of improvement.
- Examine products and processes to verify the presence and effectiveness of controls in scenarios involving multiple departments with vendor interactions.
- Carry out risk assessments prior to onboarding for non-outsourcing vendor arrangements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Postgraduate degree or MBA, preferably specializing in Operations, Finance, or Risk Management.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of industry experience within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector.
- At least 3 years of practical exposure in vendor management, procurement, risk, or compliance roles within an RBI-regulated entity.
