Job Overview
The Liner Manager for the Middle East region will oversee and advance liner shipping operations, focusing on profitability, operational excellence, and commercial expansion. This role emphasizes managing TEUs and High & Heavy cargo within car carriers or breakbulk, initially prioritizing existing in-house customers with planned growth targeting new business opportunities.

AD Ports Group's Maritime & Shipping Cluster operates under Noatum Maritime, a globally integrated and agile maritime entity managing a fleet exceeding 250 vessels. Noatum provides a comprehensive suite of maritime services across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive commercial growth by maintaining robust relationships with internal customers to maximize cargo volumes and profitability from the outset.
- Develop and execute regional market expansion strategies that align with Noatum Maritime’s global objectives.
- Establish and manage an effective sales structure and customer service framework, including leading the downstream sales team.
- Implement responsive and quality customer service front desk operations to ensure agility and excellence.
- Optimize liner operational processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, reflecting global company standards.
- Collaborate with global liner teams and regional managers to synchronize operations and strategies.
- Lead and mentor the sales and operations team, aligning efforts with commercial and operational company goals.
- Set and monitor performance indicators to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
- Promote team development through targeted training, skill enhancement, and career growth initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in liner shipping, especially in TEUs and/or High & Heavy cargo sectors pertaining to car carriers.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial and operational shipping strategies.
- Proficient in English; fluency in additional regional languages is beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience in both commercial and managerial liner operations roles.

- Financial acumen related to liner shipping operations.
- Comprehensive expertise in liner shipping processes, commercial representation, customs procedures, and maritime regulations.
- Proven ability to manage operations to meet profit objectives.
