Role Overview
The HR Specialist for the Solutions and Services Group (SSG) will support transformation efforts by working closely with the HR leader and the wider HR function. The role covers recruiting support, employee development, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, HR reporting, and employee engagement. It calls for strong organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to improving the employee experience while supporting business goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting activities such as candidate coordination, interview scheduling, and onboarding for new employees.
- Track headcount, open requisitions, and hiring progress to help with workforce planning.
- Support the Lenovo OHRP process and related talent-planning work.
- Help organize employee learning and development programs.
- Contribute to organizational development efforts aimed at improving performance and business effectiveness.
- Support change-management initiatives and help ensure organizational changes are rolled out smoothly.
- Help plan and execute engagement activities that promote an inclusive, collaborative, high-performing workplace.
- Coordinate employee events, recognition activities, and team-building programs.
- Act as a first point of contact for employee questions and HR-related support requests.
- Assist in preparing and sharing HR communications for employees and leaders.
- Provide administrative support for HR programs, policies, and procedures.
- Create HR reports and dashboards to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain and review HR data and metrics related to hiring, retention, engagement, and workforce trends.
- Protect the accuracy and integrity of HR records and information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or a similar area.
- Working knowledge of core HR principles, employment practices, and people processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build relationships.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and AI-powered productivity tools.
- Strong analytical ability, organization, and time-management skills.
- Capability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving, changing environment.
- Self-driven, detail-focused, and committed to producing high-quality work.
