Housekeeper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join the Bateman House Care Home, a part of the Country Court family located in Uttoxeter, East Staffordshire. This luxury care home consists of seventy-six ensuite rooms and provides specialist dementia and residential care across two floors with exceptional facilities.

Role Responsibilities

In this position, you will play a significant role in enhancing the lives of our residents. Your duties will include maintaining the highest cleaning standards throughout the home, ensuring residents' personal belongings, bedding, and clothes are washed, pressed, and folded with precise care. You will be accountable for a meticulous cleaning routine where no surface is overlooked to uphold cleanliness and hygiene in residents’ rooms.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is proactive, passionate, and ambitious with a great eye for detail. Experience as a housekeeper or laundry assistant is preferred but not compulsory. It is important to possess a caring and friendly approach to interact effectively with residents and their families, alongside some knowledge or interest in the care sector.

Working Hours and Conditions

The position is for 37.5 hours per week, covering days including weekends on a rotating basis. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the UK and provide proof if successful in their application.
