About the role

As a Healthcare Assistant at Truly Dental in Moate, County Westmeath, you will support the clinical team in delivering excellent patient care and a smooth patient journey from arrival through to departure. Your role will involve assisting with dental procedures, helping maintain high infection prevention standards, and contributing to the efficient day-to-day operation of the practice.

Key responsibilities

  • Support dental clinicians with treatment setup, procedure assistance, and coordination of patient care.
  • Check and observe patient wellbeing before, throughout, and after clinical treatment.
  • Apply infection prevention measures and help uphold clinical support standards.
  • Keep patient records accurate, secure, and GDPR-compliant.
  • Assist in supervising and guiding junior healthcare support colleagues.
  • Work with clinical leads on patient condition updates, medication information, and other relevant risk considerations.
  • Help maintain health, safety, and clinical governance requirements.
  • Contribute to staff learning, training, and capability building in patient care and emergency response.

Essential requirements
