We are currently hiring full-time Healthcare Assistants to join our Trim nursing home team. Key Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering comprehensive and high-quality care tailored to each resident's needs.
• Maintain residents' personal hygiene and care with utmost respect and dignity.
• Support residents with their nutritional needs, helping with eating and drinking as required.
• Aid residents in mobility, ensuring the correct use of assistive devices.
• Escort and transfer residents safely as directed by nursing personnel.
• Provide support during end-of-life care situations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing or management staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a QQI/FETAC qualification or equivalent experience in a related care setting is desirable.
• Practical experience working in a caregiving role is preferred.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Professional, compassionate, and empathetic approach towards residents.
• Ability to handle challenging environments with resilience.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays from Monday to Sunday.
