About KidStrong General Manager Role
KidStrong invites a dynamic leader ready to shape an engaging, nurturing environment where coaches, children, and families flourish. As General Manager at our Edmonds center, your role is vital in energizing sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and elevating daily experiences.
Responsibilities
- Master financials and key performance indicators to optimize center operation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships as the welcoming face of KidStrong.
- Ensure cleanliness and smooth running of the facility.
- Effectively delegate duties to your team to balance workload and avoid burnout.
- Manage a flexible schedule including four weekdays and one weekend day per week.
- Lead membership growth by collaborating with your team to achieve goals and fill classes.
- Proactively convert leads through calls and messages.
- Organize and attend community events to raise KidStrong’s local profile.
- Foster team development and motivation both on and off the playing floor.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of coaching staff.
- Utilize KidStrong's training resources for continuous professional growth.
- Maintain clear communication via Slack and email.
- Deliver coaching sessions personally, maintaining active involvement in 3-5 classes weekly.
- Monitor class attendance and progress using the KidStrong Coaches App.
- Successfully achieve Coach Certification through official training.
- Supervise Assistant General Manager, Lead Coach, and coaching team.
- Coordinate with the Area Developer (Franchisee) and head office staff.
Candidate Profile
- Experience coaching children aged from 15 months to 11 years.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage parents and guardians effectively.
- Comfortable with technology, including Google and Microsoft applications plus social media platforms.
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
