Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by helping customers select appropriate plants, fertilizers, pest control, and garden hardware solutions.
• Offer expert advice, inspiration, and practical support to customers and team members alike.
• Perform hands-on physical tasks such as maintenance within the garden department, including lifting, moving, and replenishing heavy stock.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience delivering great customer service.
• Strong knowledge of plants, garden hardware, and dry garden products.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and team-oriented mindset with confident communication skills.
• Excellent time management and the ability to adapt effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a garden centre is advantageous but not essential.
• Availability to work on a roster that includes weekends.
• Residency in New Zealand or a valid NZ work visa is mandatory.
