Role Overview
This position involves on-ground market research focused on workforce demand, hiring patterns, and labor market behavior across relevant industries in Hyderabad.
Responsibilities
- Carry out field-based research to learn about workforce requirements, hiring methods, and broader labor market trends.
- Build a map of employers operating in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and other related industries.
- Speak with employers and workers to collect information on job demand, compensation, benefits, and workplace conditions.
- Study common workforce issues such as labor shortages, absenteeism, frequent employee exits, and skill mismatches.
- Review current hiring sources like contractors, staffing firms, referrals, and online platforms.
- Keep well-organized records of employer interactions, interview notes, and market observations in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Compile findings and share recommendations on in-demand worker groups, employer concerns, and possible pilot opportunities.
