Overview
Baidyanath, a company operating in the Retail Health and Personal Care Products industry with a focus on Personal Care Product Manufacturing, seeks an experienced professional to drive growth in its Export Division. This position is based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, and requires on-site presence.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Pharmacy, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred. Additionally, applicants should have no fewer than 10 years experience in export management or international sales, ideally within pharmaceutical or Ayurvedic sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore and identify potential export markets and customers utilizing methods including market research, participation in trade shows, digital platforms, and networking.
- Manage the complete sales process from generating leads through order fulfillment and maintaining robust client relationships.
- Prepare, review, and manage all export documentation such as Proforma and Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, ensuring compliance with export protocols.
- Coordinate efficiently with production teams, logistics, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to guarantee seamless delivery operations and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the primary liaison for international clients, effectively handling inquiries, conducting price negotiations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of regulations, tariffs, trade documentation, and government incentives related to export and import in diverse countries.
- Track and analyze sales trends by region, compile monthly export performance reports, and suggest strategic actions to enhance growth.
- Represent Baidyanath at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer-seller meetings when required.
