Role overview
Baidyanath is looking for a Business Development Executive with hands-on experience across the complete business development and sales cycle. The role calls for someone who can confidently win new clients, nurture existing relationships, and use strong negotiation abilities to close business opportunities. Prior exposure to FMCG or personal care businesses will be an advantage.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required, along with at least 1 year of experience in business development.
- Experience covering the full sales cycle, including closing deals, is expected.
- A track record of sales performance and successful conversions is important.
- Good negotiation capability is essential.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are needed.
- Experience with CRM tools is preferred.
Compensation
The offered CTC is up to INR 20,000 per month.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts by generating prospects and turning them into sales, while building a steady order pipeline for contract manufacturing and related business lines.
- Manage important client accounts with a focus on expanding business, meeting client needs, and improving revenue outcomes.
- Develop durable client partnerships that encourage repeat orders and cross-sell opportunities, while delivering prompt support and resolving concerns effectively.
- Handle the entire sales journey from proposal preparation and contract negotiation to smooth coordination of contract terms with internal functions.
- Work closely with supply chain, production, finance, technology, and regulatory teams to support on-time delivery and statutory compliance.
- Study the market to spot business opportunities and build qualified leads through multiple outreach channels.
- Create and execute plans that support revenue growth, profitability, and overall business expansion, including annual forecasts, budgets, and performance review systems.
- Assess new product and service possibilities using market trends, customer demand, and feedback.
- Identify new revenue opportunities by strengthening existing partnerships and building customer-centric proposals.
- Drive customer acquisition across Pan India to reinforce the company’s market presence.
