Role Overview
As a Duty Manager, you will be integral in ensuring the club operates seamlessly, focusing on stellar member relations, exceptional customer satisfaction, and effective management of the gaming floor and various club outlets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong relationships with club members to maintain high engagement and satisfaction.
- Drive excellent service standards that guarantee positive guest experiences.
- Oversee the gaming area with a focus on regulatory compliance in liquor and gaming laws.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team, promoting a supportive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Manage the daily operations across gaming, bingo, food and beverage departments efficiently.
- Ensure the venue’s safety for all patrons and staff members.
- Handle feedback and resolve complaints promptly to continuously improve services.
- Maintain open and clear communication with team members and guests alike.
Targets and Expectations
- Elevate customer service to consistently exceed expectations.
- Achieve and surpass individual and team KPIs, balancing service quality and financial goals.
- Implement effective strategies to increase revenue and optimize cost management.
- Coach and motivate staff to reach their full potential, fostering professional growth and celebrating successes.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in a comparable management role.
- Mandatory certifications including Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG), Responsible Management of Licensed Venue, and a valid Approved Manager License.
- Strong conflict resolution skills paired with experience in staff engagement.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Must have legal rights to work in Australia.
