Role overview
A client in Rockville, Maryland is looking for a temporary data entry professional to support the finance team. The ideal person will be comfortable handling a large volume of data entry work and quickly picking up new systems.
Assignment details
- Contract length: 3 to 6 months
- Weekly schedule: 35 hours
- Work setup: hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
- Hourly pay: $25
Responsibilities
- Accurately and promptly enter donation records, event ticket registrations, and other revenue-related details into financial and CRM platforms.
- Keep donor and member financial information current, complete, and consistent across systems.
- Examine checks and supporting paperwork to classify and code transactions correctly.
- Collect and arrange electronic or paper backup materials needed for finance workflows and audit support.
- Work with internal staff to resolve questions or discrepancies in transaction data.
- Take on additional duties as needed.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 1 to 3 years of comparable experience.
- Comfortable working with both professional staff and volunteer leaders.
- Strong problem-solving ability, a positive mindset, and professional communication skills.
- Able to shift smoothly between tasks and priorities.
