Customer Delivery Driver - Worcester Warndon Superstore

Position Overview

As a Customer Delivery Driver representing Tesco, you will engage directly with customers by delivering their orders to their homes. This role is not only about driving but focuses on providing excellent service with a friendly demeanor. The job is active, varied, and involves working largely independently while having supportive management and colleagues available.

Work Schedule

• Sunday: 06:30 to 14:00
• Wednesday: 19:00 to 23:00
• Friday: 08:00 to 18:00
• Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your delivery van, trays, and workspace to ensure orders arrive in excellent condition.
• Load the van securely and perform necessary checks to ensure the vehicle is safe and reliable for deliveries.
• Communicate clearly and supportively with customers regarding any order changes or substitutions, offering refunds where required to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Handle products with care, treating each delivery with attention to quality and customer trust.
• Deliver orders punctually within scheduled time slots, providing warm and professional service that makes customers feel appreciated.
• Foster strong team relationships to promote a positive working environment and seamless service delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full UK, EU, or EEA driving license (manual or automatic) held for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Exhibit a friendly and welcoming attitude towards customers and colleagues.
• Be adaptable and responsive to changing customer needs and operational adjustments during shifts.
