Position Overview

We are looking for a full-time Community Manager for our Chicago Union Station location. Reporting to the Senior Community Manager, this role collaborates with internal teams and external partners daily. It is a highly impactful and visible position that goes beyond being a front desk role, serving as the central driver of an exceptional customer experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering outstanding customer service to members, visitors, and prospects consistently.
  • Facilitating community engagement by fostering connections among members, especially promoting member-to-member interactions.
  • Building strong relationships by understanding members’ businesses, challenges, and goals to support their short and long-term success.
  • Communicating warmly, clearly, and helpfully with community members.
  • Onboarding new members by preparing spaces, conducting tours, managing orientation, issuing badges, sharing community guidelines, and assisting with technology setup.
  • Keeping members informed about events, maintenance updates, community news, and managing conference room reservations.
  • Handling member complaints empathetically and actively listening to resolve issues.
  • Managing community-related expenses within an established budget.

  • Experience with managing operations across multiple sites is a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
