Role Overview
As a Crew Member at Chipotle, you will play an essential part in creating a welcoming environment while preparing food by hand at various stations such as grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo. Whether you bring prior experience or are new to the food service industry, Chipotle offers strong training, a clear career path, and a chance to grow—over 80% of managers started as Crew Members.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service that creates a friendly atmosphere.
- Prepare real food daily without using freezers, microwaves, or can openers.
- Perform tasks reliably across multiple stations including handling the grill, cashier duties, food preparation, salsa making, and customer expo.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward serving customers and collaborating with team members.
- Demonstrate a strong desire to learn cooking techniques and food preparation skills.
- Communicate effectively in the predominant language(s) spoken at the work location.
