Role overview
This position is part of the retail credit function for ABHFL in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The role focuses on handling risk and credit operations for assigned transactions, supporting portfolio quality, and ensuring that processing is completed accurately and within defined controls.
Underwriting and portfolio quality management
- Carry out risk and credit activities for basic assigned transactions while following the established framework and operating principles across ABHFL business lines.
- Take support from senior team members whenever needed and collect input on technical matters, including state-specific and property-specific factors that affect the risk review of individual cases.
- Coordinate with legal, technical, and other verification partners for legal-technical checks and case clarifications when files become complex.
- Track bounce rates and make sure they remain within the prescribed threshold.
Process efficiency
- Perform risk operations in an effective way that supports business outcomes while still meeting risk management requirements.
- Work closely with Credit Processing Analysts so that case files are correctly logged before credit operations begin.
- Follow process-based coordination with Sales and Operations teams to support decision-making and issue resolution aligned with business needs and risk controls; escalate to the RCM when necessary.
- Manage external vendors effectively to maintain report quality and turnaround time.
- Keep a close watch on costs and ensure they stay within budget.
- Enter data correctly in the LOS and maintain strong documentation quality.
- Ensure post-disbursement documents are collected within the assigned timeline.
