Role Overview

We are seeking empathetic and dedicated professionals to join as Counsellors providing critical mental health support to patients affected by cancer and other long-term medical conditions, as well as their families and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions addressing psychological challenges caused by medical conditions.
  • Provide socio-economic guidance and educate patients about social and health security schemes available to them.
  • Maintain comprehensive case files, patient records, and reports accurately.
  • Work closely with healthcare providers, clinicians, and institutions to ease patient access to medical services and support throughout their treatment journey.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with hospitals and healthcare institutions to create strong collaborative networks.
  • Coordinate patient-centered services and empower patients and caregivers with necessary knowledge and skills.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • A graduate or post-graduate degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
  • Basic knowledge and skills in counseling techniques and approaches.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Meticulousness in documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in English and the local language for effective communication.
  • Experience in public health and data reporting is advantageous.
