Role Overview

We are seeking empathetic and dedicated professionals to join as Counsellors providing critical mental health support to patients affected by cancer and other long-term medical conditions, as well as their families and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions addressing psychological challenges caused by medical conditions.
• Provide socio-economic guidance and educate patients about social and health security schemes available to them.
• Maintain comprehensive case files, patient records, and reports accurately.
• Work closely with healthcare providers, clinicians, and institutions to ease patient access to medical services and support throughout their treatment journey.
• Build and sustain partnerships with hospitals and healthcare institutions to create strong collaborative networks.
• Coordinate patient-centered services and empower patients and caregivers with necessary knowledge and skills.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• A graduate or post-graduate degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
• Basic knowledge and skills in counseling techniques and approaches.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Meticulousness in documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks.
• Proficiency in English and the local language for effective communication.
• Experience in public health and data reporting is advantageous.

Experience

0 to 1 year of relevant experience is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include group life insurance, accidental insurance, medical insurance, travel reimbursement, and leave entitlements as per organizational policy.

Other Information

The role involves approximately 20% travel within the state and outside.
