Role Overview
We are seeking a well-experienced and organized Contract Administration Lead to join our Dammam, Saudi Arabia team. This leadership role involves overseeing all contract administration activities, guiding a team of contract specialists, and ensuring adherence to company policies and local regulatory standards. The successful candidate will exhibit excellent decision-making skills, strong organizational capabilities, and leadership qualities to mentor a high-performing team while upholding operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the contract administration team, fostering professional growth and implementing best practices.
- Create and enforce standardized contract management policies, procedures, and templates for organizational consistency.
- Review and approve contracts, ensuring legal compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with company objectives.
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiating, executing, and renewing various agreements with vendors, suppliers, and clients.
- Maintain accurate and accessible contract databases and documentation systems.
- Identify contract risks and propose appropriate mitigation strategies to safeguard company interests.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as finance, legal, procurement, and operations to fulfill contract requirements.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, tracking deliverables, milestones, and financial responsibilities.
- Generate regular reports detailing contract status, performance metrics, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate contract terms with external parties to secure advantageous outcomes.
- Ensure contracts comply with Saudi Arabian laws and local business practices.
- Address contract disputes and manage contract amendments when necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
- Over 12 years of contract administration experience, including at least 5 years in supervisory or leadership roles.
- Extensive expertise in contract management encompassing drafting, negotiation, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of contract law, regulations, and risk management.
- Proven leadership skills to develop and motivate teams effectively.
- Advanced knowledge of contract management software and databases.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail with sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant business tools.
- Experience overseeing vendor and supplier relationships.
- Good grasp of procurement procedures and financial management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
