Role Overview
This is a 7-month contract opportunity based in Carlsbad, California, with the work performed fully onsite. The position supports research activities in a healthcare and laboratory setting.

Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in life sciences with laboratory coursework directly relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
- Prior exposure at the entry level or through an internship in a laboratory environment is an advantage.
- Experience with molecular biology methods such as PCR and DNA extraction is considered a plus.
- Ability to plan and carry out research activities with supervision.
- Capability to review, interpret, and document study results in an organized manner.
- Comfort with performing laboratory calculations.
- Experience handling reagent testing tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency, including word processing and spreadsheet tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and cross-functional groups.
