Cleaning and Waste Operative

Overview

Join our team as a Cleaning and Waste Operative working within a warehouse environment. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility, including washrooms and canteen areas, while managing waste efficiently.

Work Hours and Compensation

This is a permanent full-time position with shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, following a 4 days on / 4 days off schedule, working 12 hours per day. The hourly pay rate is £13.38.

Key Duties

• Perform general cleaning and tidying tasks across all warehouse areas, including restrooms and canteens.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and materials, ensuring they are kept clean, safe, and functional.
• Respond promptly to client call-outs requiring cleaning or waste management assistance.
• Adhere strictly to Health & Safety policies and legislation, with full training provided upon employment.
• Carry out waste disposal responsibilities efficiently.
