What you will do
- Partner with Account Executives on new-logo opportunities within the banking and wealth segments.
- Work with Marketing to share feedback on campaigns focused on Banking & Wealth and help shape outbound strategy.
- Research target accounts, build prospect lists, and run outbound outreach to decision-makers in digital banking, wealth management, and brokerage operations.
- Help new prospects understand Plaid’s products and answer questions related to account funding, investment data, and open banking connectivity.
- Spot promising sub-verticals such as credit unions, RIA platforms, and digital brokerages to expand revenue potential.
What Plaid is looking for

- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales or pipeline development, ideally in SaaS or fintech.
- Experience leading senior-level conversations with banking and wealth management stakeholders.
- Ability to present Plaid’s value proposition and gauge buying interest across traditional and modern financial institutions.
- Comfort working under tight timelines and in a high-volume customer environment.
- Persistent, self-driven mindset with strong follow-through.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM platform.
- Background in customer-facing work and the ability to explain technical products clearly.
- Strong interest in financial services, market dynamics, and technical products, plus intellectual curiosity.
- Motivation to contribute in a high-growth setting and help build processes and tools when needed.
- Interest in becoming more technical and learning Plaid’s APIs, especially the Investments, Auth, and Identity products.
