Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Asset Management Specialist responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of organizational assets to optimize their use, upkeep, compliance, and value. This role involves managing asset records, monitoring performance, coordinating inventory and lifecycle procedures, and assisting in strategic planning to boost operational efficiency and overall business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive asset registers and lifecycle documentation for the organization.
- Oversee asset procurement, deployment, transfers, routine maintenance, and disposal activities.
- Perform regular inventories, audits, and reconcile asset records.
- Ensure precise asset tracking through management systems and documentation.
- Support capital expenditure planning and management of fixed assets.
- Track asset usage, depreciation, and performance indicators.
- Organize preventive maintenance schedules and asset servicing tasks.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and management analyses related to assets.
- Collaborate closely with finance teams on capitalization, depreciation, and asset account reconciliations.
- Comply with established policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards concerning asset management.
- Identify and recommend methods for improving asset utilization and operational productivity.
- Support procurement processes and vendor coordination regarding asset acquisition and upkeep.
- Contribute to business continuity planning and asset-related risk management efforts.
- Suggest process enhancements to improve asset governance and reporting accuracy.
- Stay current with industry best practices and technological advancements in asset management.
