Overview
Join the Case Services team as an Application Engineer, entrusted with managing the complete lifecycle of application build, testing, release, deployment, and configuration. This role demands collaboration and expert communication across technical levels engaging customers, suppliers, and Ministry staff.
Skills and Experience
Success in this position requires strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, rapid adaptability, and dedication to delivering superior customer outcomes.
- 2 to 3 years of experience as an application engineer.
- Proficiency in developing Oracle Java and APEX applications.
- Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks used in the Ministry such as Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, JavaScript, and SQL Reports.
- Experience with ReactJS, Apex Office Print (AOP), and PowerBI is advantageous.
- A readiness to learn both legacy and emerging technologies.
- Experience addressing incidents and change requests within Business As Usual (BAU) application support.
- Contribution to Continuous Integration and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile development and testing within product teams.
- Ability to operate effectively as part of a product and services development team with unified organizational goals.
- Effective communication across diverse audiences on complex topics.
- Capability to establish and sustain productive internal and external professional relationships.

Salary
The role’s salary ranges between NZD 105,226 and 144,034 per year, depending on skills and experience.
