Overview
Milaha is seeking an Analyst – Payroll to oversee and guarantee smooth payroll operations while providing support to employees across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately execute comprehensive monthly payroll processing within deadlines.
- Conduct payroll reviews, reconciliations, audits, and quality assurance checks to maintain compliance and data accuracy.
- Handle retroactive payroll modifications, salary updates, and complete exit settlements.
- Manage payroll bank transactions and coordinate cross-border salary disbursements, including those related to crew payments.
- Work closely with the Human Capital Management team to apply, evaluate, and enhance payroll processes and system functionalities.
- Address payroll discrepancies, resolve employee inquiries, and contribute to ongoing process refinement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and payroll-related regulations.
- Administer employee health and medical insurance activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of payroll or related experience.
- Previous Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region experience is preferred.
- Background in maritime, shipping, or offshore sectors is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Oracle Payroll and Microsoft Excel.
- Solid knowledge of payroll operations, auditing, reconciliation, and compliance matters.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving capabilities along with effective communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
